PROEMA did not test GEO on a client with fingers crossed. Expertcafe.be is a vertical we operate ourselves, in one of the most saturated markets on the web, with measured and dated figures.
The starting point. Before 10 May 2026: virtually no citations in AI responses. Everything that follows was built in approximately seven weeks.
What the figures say as of 30 June 2026. ~5,500 cumulative AI citations (Bing AI Performance). ~30,000 AI responses per month (~950/day) — ~400 direct visits by the ChatGPT agent, ~550 citations from Bing memory. Max citation share: 57% on the query “espresso grind setting filter coffee” in French. 80% on Belgium-targeted queries on Perplexity.
The key insight: cited around 30,000 times a month by answer engines, up to 57% citation share, in five languages. The demonstration is precisely about this: citation by AI does not follow from classic search ranking, it is built separately. On this site the Google ranking stays outside the top 20 on almost every query, and no AI Overview citation is measured, while answer engines cite the site thousands of times a month.
What this proves for you. If your market is crowded, you can no longer hope for page one of Google. But you can become the largest share of the AI answer. That is what we did for ourselves, in the worst possible market.
